After doing a C-start I have tried to download a system from backup using Robinsall . Everything looked good until it starts to copy files. I get an error message -2001: Failed to copy any file from the prgram directory. Program directory may be corrupt. Any ideas what i need to do to correct this.

I am a bit confused about what exactly you are trying to accomplish. With Robinstall you create a system and download it to the controller. If I recall, you can tell it to include some modules. But you typically don't download a backup. You can use the backup to restore after downloading a system. Have you installed the robotware also?

I did create a new system and now getting these errors. I was hoping that the backup from a couple of years ago would correct the issues.

You first should fix the problem with the 'battery unit drained'.
Then install the system again.
Why did you install a new system?
May be it's an incompatible system you installed.

In the first error pic you posted, did you push the "check" function key? It will describe what to check. Most likely the connectors will be one thing to check. Status lights on boards should be helpful.

Check all your connections, starting from the robot base connector. Check for bent or pushed in pins, damage to cable. Check connection at robot controller. Check the status lights on axis computer and main cpu. Connections to axis computer and main cpu.

Thank You !!! Replacing the cables to robot corrected the problem.
