I have a KRC4 standard controller for my 2011 R210 R3100 Quantec Ultra Robot.
I've been struggling for weeks with my electricial to get the proper wiring to the mains.
First, he wanted me to use a 30mA RCD (Residual Current Device), because there was a plug -X1- on the robot (French regulation it seems).
I managed to convince him to use the recommended 300 mA RCD specified by KUKA (proper delay curve, max amperage, etc...), but he says it must be wrong because it's got only 3 poles.
So he put me a circuit breaker RCD close to KUKA's recommendation, but with 4 poles (3 hot plus neutral).
Although he tells me that the neutral is "supposed" to be grounded already, I have my doubts because once, I tripped the main circuit breaker when cutting a cable for a lighting device that was switched off. That means (to me) that there was a difference of potential between ground and neutral.
So, should I just dis-connect the neutral on the X1 plug ?
Or should I ask the electrician to connect Neutral and Earth before the RCD as I read somewhere in this forum ?
On the schematics, for the Neutral lead, it says "Option for service socket..."
So? Neutral or not Neutral ?
