Hello
I'm looking for GSD file to DX 100 Profibus can anyone share with me
Thanks for all help.
What board are you using for the Profibus?? Anybus board (SARCR-XFB01) ?
Couple of options:
1. Brand new controller, very few out there, especially with Profibus. Go to the manufacturer. The chances of someone having the GSD file are slim to none, except Motoman. You can sit around watching the board, waiting for an answer or pick up the phone or email Motoman and get the correct file sooner.
2. Depending on the board it may use the hms_1003.gsd file. The latest version of this file can be downloaded at http://hms.se or contact HMS.
Yes You are correct AnyBus-Karte SARCR-XFB01
and the gsd file is HMS_1013.gsd
But I can't attach this kind of file
Hello,
I have the same question about profibus communication between S7 314 and Motoman. Board type is YIU02 and Anybus card AB 3601. I have a gsd file Hms_003.gsd. In the hardware configuration of S7 plc I took 8word IN / 8word Out, while at Dx100 I set 16byte, but what about status byte?? I have a DX100 C.I/O list (DX100 general bus master 60Byte slave 64 byte V1.23.xls) pdf and when a communicate via profibus, the signals desn't match with the expected signals. When reading from profibus I get only first byte of specific output. Does anybody posses a manual on that topic? Thank you in advance for any help
Best regards
Hi , don't have a lot of info. and been a while since last setup.
hope it helps.
I might be requested to remove this manual within 48 hours,

I'm pretty sure Yaskawa doesn't mind manuals being posted.
The yaskawa code is a different story though!!

Hi , I have rescanned this manual removing any passwords or procedures that could be construed as "secret/confidential"
I believe that users should be aware that motoman controllers (along with all other manufacturers) are quite capable of having their I/O expanded in this manner, this manual gives that basic knowledge ie. The DX is quite capable of being setup as the " Master", using its CIO for external processing.
If users wish to pursue the protocols mentioned , I'm sure Yaskawa/motoman will be more than happy to supply more information.
As far as Protocols are concerned you can download Demo software from "Anybus Net tool for Profibus" to get Laptop setup details & GSD files etc. see page 4.
Note - if you do end up Buying Anybus software, as you may need more than two Nodes , please make sure it is the latest version.
