i am trying to get the robot into a position to ship. Controller is not coming on so want to position manually. Also when in position what is lift point?

For releasing the brakes, look at the IRB2000 Service Manual found >here< and go to page 4:1 (49) for instructions. Go to the Installation section of the Product Manual to find the approximate pose for shipping.

Please make sure that the robot is supported before releasing the brakes, especially keep clear of pinch points!
