Hi All,
I am setting up external Mode Control with an AB compactLogixPLC. All of my external IO is set up and tested at both PLC & Controller end and all is good. I have modified my cell().src file to reflect the programs I wish to call.
For setup & testing I have created two basic programs (one with a Z+/- movement in a loop, the other with an X+/- movement in a loop) I aim to test all program selection/stopping/starting/restarting/initial Homing function/error recovery, etc using these programs first before I let loose on my production programs.
While following the many informative posts already covering this topic I stumbled upon some screen shots of an AB studio5000 ladder logic program that had been developed for the external control. From memory it was about 10 rungs long and had all of the external IO signals and pulse timers setup in their correct sequential order.
However I cannot for the life of me find the post were I had originally seen it. Would anyone have a link to this post or a copy of the pdf with the screen shots. I believe the post was in relation to external mode control but having searched a large qty of these posts I cannot seem to find it.
Thanks
