User Frame

    HI

    Have a dx200 with nx100 controller. How do i go about setting up a user frame for the parts im welding. I want to use a table and be able to move it around as need be with the parts located and fixed to the table.

    Do you have a dx200 or a nx100? They are different controller with a lot of differences.

    There is a section under the robot menu in which you have a lot of user frame to define. Choose a number frame then create 3 points moving your manipulator. ORG will be the origin point of your frame, XX will be the point that inidicates the direction of X axis and XY will the point to the define the XY plane. You should have a look at the manual for this.

    Not clear. Do you need a rotating frame or an external reference point. Anyway both of them are special function availabe only if you will pay it.
