I'm planning a safeoperation retrofit on and existing cell as well as various other upgrades and rollups. I'm trying to tie down some of the specifics that need to be implemented so I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help me out with.
- If the cell is only running a single tool is a safe input still required for that tool number? (trying to figure out if I need to add a safety interface other than X42 i.e. X13, X11 or ethernet)
- If a process is specific to a workvisual project with its own tool i.e.WV Project 1 tool A, WV Project 2 tool B then am I correct in saying that each workvisual project will have its own specific checksum (activation code 8.6 +) dedicated to it if nothing in the project affecting the safety config changes it, regardless of how many times you activate the project i.e. WV Project 1 Tool A if remains unchanged will always have checksum 255FD307 for example and the only intervention will be that the safety config needs to be reactivated when the projects are activated (trying to figure out if the checksum will remain tied to the project unchanged even if projects get switched over on the robot so that the checksum can be documented)
- If using safeoperation and the brake test is deactivated will this be reactivated automatically in certain conditions i.e. on reboot of controller?
