R-j3 controller
I am able to jog robot when teach pendant is on and any mode Is selected (t1/t2/auto). I don’t want to be able to jog when selector is in auto. Is there a setting that allows this?

There is no setting to allow this I think, it must be hardwired.
It’s recognizes it’s in auto/t1/t2 but I’m able to jog with tp on any any position. Could it be old safety software?
Has it always been like this or did it just start happening?
Can you post the summary.dg file from a backup?
we have some older R-j3s doing the same, but they're modified by the company we bought them. I also have the wiring diagrams somewhere.
Cant confirm if this problem just started or it was just recently noticed. moln4r How did they modify to bypass auto?
The panel board has dedicated internal inputs to know if the Mode Switch is in T1 or T2. It could dirty Mode Switch contacts (SR2-5 & SR2-6) for those inputs. Check Mode Switch connector CRT7-A5 to -B5 and CRT7-A6 to -B6. Should be less than an 1 ohm when they make contact.

Sry I don't have access to the docs rn.
It was a feature. They removed it from R-30iAs onwards...
