I've connected laser sensor(as IO-Link device) to the Balluff module.
The communication is working fine, the data is send correctly - the cyclic part of it.
Now the issue is that I want to switch the laser on and off, according to the localization of the robot.
The Laser On/Off(index 147 in instruction manual) is one of the device parameters and not part of cyclic communication.
I couldn't find any manual or forum post regarding this issue.
I've contacted Balluff and Kuka but didn't get any solution to my problem. Apparently it's straight forward problem when dealing with PLC.
Has any one have any guidance on how can I solve this issue?

The problem is with the laser beem 'bliding' operators and not with the use in program
