Hello friends,
I want to control the digital outputs with the HMI in html, it works with the HMI on the Teach pendant, but it doesn't work from Internet Explorer !
Anyone have an idea? Is the remote iPendant option necessary?
Thanks in advance

I don't think you need that option. There's a way to do it with just Karel.
I don't think you can change the DO directly but you can start a Karel program through HTTP that will change the DOs for you. You need to unlock Karel in Menu->Setup->HostComm->HTTP for this. Also you'll have to write the specific program yourself. I am quite sure there is a way to set a DO in Karel though.
Take A look at this project https://github.com/ABC-iRobotics/fanuc-webcontrol.
It's a WebInterface with which you can Jog a Fanuc Robot. The WebInterface works by starting Karel progs that change Flags on the Robot. Then they have a TP program that needs to be running at the same time that waits for those Flags. Once they are set the TP prog begins to move the Robot.
Here's the JavaScript code that invokes their Karel program that then sets their Flags. You just need to send your HTTP GET request to the right URL.
// Jogging
$('#j1m').on('mousedown touchstart', function() {
webclear()
$(".btn").not(this).prop('disabled', true)
$(".abort").prop('disabled', false)
var mtn_mod = '2'
var coord1 = '-1'
var coord2 = '0'
var coord3 = '0'
var coord4 = '0'
var coord5 = '0'
var coord6 = '0'
$.ajax({
type: 'GET',
url: `/KAREL/webcontrol?str_mtn_mod=${mtn_mod}&str_coord1=${coord1}&str_coord2=${coord2}&str_coord3=${coord3}&str_coord4=${coord4}&str_coord5=${coord5}&str_coord6=${coord6}`,
cache: false,
success: function() {}
})
refresh = setInterval(webkeep, setInt)
}).on('mouseup touchend', function() {
webstop()
clearInterval(refresh)
enButVar = setTimeout(enBut, setTime)
})

You can get something like this to work on Internet Explorer but I am not sure if it will work on the TeachPendant. As far as I know the TeachPendant itself can only run ancient JavaScript versions. In theory it should be possible as well as long as you are extra carefull with your JS code. Maybe the best way is to start by programming it for the TeachPendant and then exchange stuff with HTTP Get requests. Worst case you need two HTMLs, one for InternetExplorer and one for the TeachPendant.
Hallo,
i have the same problem on the teach panel it can be controlled.
in the internet explorer not i see the states of the do on the pc.
i hope is a simple solution.
would like to use it for an external hmi.
Is it a R30iB? If you only want to see the states of the DO's:
RE: Additional software or upgrade module needed for taking my robot to internet?
its a R30IB, I would like an external HMI with the internet explorer. I only control Register or DO,s
The easiest solution would be to use the Comment Tool that the robot already has. You can already set Registers with it. Then you write a BG_Logic program that maps certain registers to DO's. It's a bit of a messy solution though imo.
You could also use the 4 panels that your robot should have (MENU->BROWSER->PANEL SETUP). For me they work on an external HMI with internet explorer but there are problems. They are meant to be viewed on the TeachPendant primarily it seems. You can also improve the generated panelX.stm files manually. The panel wizard Option from Fanuc does basically the same but has better control elements and layouts for the panels. Maybe check the option out in RoboGuide if you have that.
Regarding the Panel Wizard option: I'm trying to experiment with that in RoboGuide 9.4, but running into a silly problem.
Going to Menu>Browser>Panel Wizard opens up the setup page for the PW. But once I completed setting up a page with a control... how do I display the PW page I just created? I think I've gone through every single menu tree on the iPendant, without finding any way to get that page to display. I've also opened up localhost in Internet Explorer and drilled down through all of the various menus and buttons, and found nothing.
It doesn't help that I can't find a manual for Panel Wizard, either. I did manage to find a 5-page PDF segment that described the setup process, but it doesn't include anything about how to display the panel once it's been created. What am I missing?
Normally after setting up the panel and confirming the new setup with pressing 'COMPLETE' the Panel appears in the Browser Menu (i.e. -Menu - Next - Browser)
Attention: for the first time creating the panel you have to press two different buttons 'COMPLETE'. The first direct in the Panel you are setting up, the second in the following page.
When modifying a already created panel you only have to press on 'COMPLETE' button.

Definitely not happening. At least, not on any of my attempts so far.

Hm. Okay, I'll start over from scratch with this in mind, and see what happens.
hi, how i can download FANUC ipendant controls? , a I am working in robotguide for create HM´s, i would like use sherpoint

I have the same problem with IPendant Controls download. Fanuc Brazil has a bad service and don't help with CRC registration. So, I am developing a browser application for a R30iA, without touch screen. Some one has the IPendant Controls 7.70 or 8.30? Can be higher version too.
Thanks.
