Hi
We Have 2 Robot VKRC2.
The robot has two cards of "Interbus Fiber Optic" and "MFC3".
We need to network these 2 robots with PLC.
Which of the "Interbus Fiber Optic" and "MFC3" cards can be used as a network?
Thank you for helping me

One and the other option is possible. MFC 3 is a devicenet network, very easy and quick connection, I have not experimented with the interbus with yet anymore.

By default, VKRC2 use Interbus network to communicate with a PLC.
If You aren't inside a VW plant, You can use DeviceNet as well, but Interbus will offer a bigger I/O range and some extra features.

Onboard MFC Devicenet interface only operate as Master. It mean you must be use Devicenet Slave <-> Devicenet slave gateway for two robot communication (e.g. Anybus Gateway from HMS). Interbus FO is best communication for this case because IBS ISA or PCI card have both master and slave interface. You can connect without any cost.
