Its for a RJ2 system Fanuc 900 series
-
From the handling tool eDoc:
QuoteInput power applied to the amplifier has been lost.
Check the connections and cables of the input power. -
We disconnected all connections and blew out connection points. Nothing has changed still getting the error code.
-
We found broken wires in the base of the robot... And we needed to replace the brake I/O card. Hopefully, those are the only issues.
-
We got the broken wires fixed and we are now getting SRVO-068 DTERR alarm group 1 ax:1. Any ideas???
-
Broken wire to axis 1 pulsecoder?
-
Broken wire was going to the motor.

Broken wire was going to the motor. You're going to need to establish a pulse on G:1 A:1 and single axis master. Once you lost power to that encoder by removing the cable it lost the pulse giving you the SRVO-068. Are you familiar with this process?
Also are you sure the card needed replaced and not just the suitcase fuse on the card?
SRVO-068 means communications were lost to the encoder and will require you to use FCTN>NEXT>CYCLE POWER then select yes. Mind you the controller needs to be switched to the ON position before executing this. Also it is very important that you have all cables and connections fixed and working properly before you cycle power so that the battery back up does it's job. This will clear the alarm for you.
You may end up with a BZAL SRVO-062 as well with this SRVO-068 which will require similar steps to clear with a few added. For this alarm you go to MENU>NEXT>SYSTEM>MASTER CAL once that screen is opened hit F3 to RES_PCA (reset pulse coder alarms) and hit F4 for yes. Then do the power cycle like in the previous step.

You would only need to do this if you have a BZAL alarm

I figured he probably has the BZAL alarm if he disconnected the cable. Unless I guess it was patched without removing it.
