Hello, I bumped into some old KUKA robot, KR6/2 with KRC1, which I need to program for a client.
I already changed motherboard battery and panel 12V batteries, loaded the KUKA software and adjusted the robot axis, everything is working perfectly, but I have the concern about the user interface which I'm not familiar with. It is slightly different to the ones I've seen on other KRC1 or KRC2, has someone else worked with this GUI before? I attach the pictures
I want to know if I will have some constraint in the future or if it may generate me any issues with the program I have to implement.

What's the KSS version?

KS V2.38-16

The strangest thing about that old versions is, that you have to archive the robot programs manually to the hard disk. Otherwise after a rebbot you will loose the changes you made.

I'm back working with that robot again. As your answer seems to imply that you have seen this interface before, maybe you can help with how to create a New program? I am not able to do so, as every time I get the following message "dateien error" (meaning files error) and "FHs bussy".

It is a looong time ago. Those robots are really very very old.
- You should try to select the correct folder on the right side. "\Programme\KRC\Roboter\krc\r1" or some similar, you will find the same files as shown in the middle.
- Abort the actual program before creating a new one
- close the editor before creating a new oneOn the picture of the first post there seems to be selected a program and also opened one in the editor.

...I don't see the problem?
The "File Handler Busy" message is odd, but everything seems to be working regardless. You created a new program, and Selected it.

press program on the bottom right as you have a program already selected

Thanks on the tips!
For the moment I found a way to make this work (although it is not a perfect solution yet)
I am able to create a new program and edit it, BUT as long as it is the first thing i do after start up. Once any program is opened or selected, I can't find any way to close it or deselect it -
If the program is Selected, and you can see it executing on the KCP screen, there should be a button in the top row named PROGRAM, and if you push it, you should have options for "Reset" and "Cancel". Reset will move the program pointer to the first executable line of the program, and Cancel should de-select the program entirely.
