well, I haven't been able to swap the cards yet because it turned out more complicated than it seemd (taking out motherboard to properly unscrew the screws that hold DSE). So before I started that task i decided to check one more time if the problem persisted, I checked once again cables and pins to have a good connection and tried to turn on the robot.
For my despair, the Teach Pendant never turned on
I pluged an external monitor but still i get nothing
This is getting under my nerves already and I am desperate to make it work.
I have been having erratic errors with this robot (i mean by erratic that they do not repeat and sometimes just disapear). So my question, specially to the more experienced with old robots. Should I keep trying to fix this robot or just replace it in some way. Considering that the robot was stored (in a storage without much care) for 8 years straigt but trying to find a replacement for it would be very time and money consuming.
I wait for your advise.
