Im using roboguide and trying my hand at building a new cell based off one of our actual robots. I brought in the robot info from an all the above back up file. Problem is that there is no axis to the 2nd or 3rd groups. Im trying to add them but in the configuration screens I get asked questions about motor size, amp type, gear ratios, joints speeds, ect ect. These are older robots and Im not exactly sure as to where to get this info. Can anyone help where to begin on finding this out? Does it even matter that my virtual robot does not have correct positioner settings as long as they move in the same manner as the actual robot?

Roboguide ask the same question like a real robot.
Maybe it is not needed to set the same values as the real robot, but the information you set have to be valid, i. e. Motor type, motor revolutions, amp capacity, etc. -
Where can one get the info that is needed regarding the positioners?

you should find it in the backup
For external axis look for files like: EXT1A1.DT
For positioner look for files like: POSG2A1.DTInside you will find the numbers (answers) you need. ( Motorsize, Gear Ratio and so on)
