Hi everybody,
My point is not exactly robots, but ı want to measure the spot welding motor current. I have 3HAB8101 type driver for spot welding motor. I tried to measure current between driver and motor. but ı didnt get any result . I think it s because of frequency. where is the best place to measure the motor current.
anyone have any idea?

TuneMaster or Test Signal Viewer. Both are included in RobotStudio downloads.

What ı m trying to do is checking motor current externaly. so ı have to do this by using a current transformer. but ı didnt get any result ı think its becuse of frequency. Any idea of this driver input output frequency?

Determine the motor speed you want to measure current at and then use an oscilloscope to measure the actual frequency while it's moving at that speed. Takes the guesswork out-of-it. For a probe, I would recommend an inductive pick-up or 100:1.
