Having some trouble with timers, wondering if anyone could advise me?
Disclamer (no idea what i'm doing when it comes to writing KRL so please bear with me)
I'm trying to use I/O's (start & end) and a timer to sync a separate system with my KR10 KRC4 8.3
I've added the following to a program
$TIMER[1]=0
$TIMER_STOP[1]=FALSE
Followed by $TIMER_STOP[1]=TRUE at the end of the program.
Now this gives me an overall program timer which works fine but i'm wondering if it's possible to get the timer to stop if the robot stops, (release safety switch in T1 for example) giving me times during the robot program allowing me to time sync various points of the robots path and then restart timer from where we left off once the robot moves again.
