My place of work has multiple KRC 1 robots which work well however a certain few decide to lose the mastering data when powered down.
We have checked the fuse which runs in line with the batteries and replaced it. And with a volt meter, we can see they are charging fine.
However after shutting down with a ammeter measuring amps in series with the batteries and a voltmeter running parallel, we are seeing the volts drop from 26+ straight down to 22 and even as low as 19v, while the ammeter reads up to 5.8A being pulled.
We've done this same setup on another robot which we know holds its mastering and we pull around 2.2A with the volts staying at a healthy 25/26v.
We've replaced the batteries in the robot which pulls 5.8~A with the ones in the cabinet which pulls 2.2~A and the same problem arises.
What exactly do the backup batteries on a KRC 1 feed? Is there anything that could be faulty which would causes an excessive amount of amps to be pulled?
