QuoteDear panic mode,
I see here on the forum that you are the guy who can help me My name is XYZ and i am from UVW. Just started one project in which i need communication between AB and Kuka KRC4 . We are using for that EtherNet/IP,but since it's my first time to configure you can imagine that i have loots of problems . Until now i only did Omron to Kuka with Ethercat Bridge module. I have Ethernet/IP manual but seams that i am doing something wrong. I am using 1756-EN3TR Ethernet/IP module on AB. I downloaded ESI file for that module from AB official, added it to library, but when i try to add it to EtherNet in the Bus Structure i get an error :''2:59:21 PM Error in DTM 1756-EN3TR: The device 0001000C00DB0A01.eds cannot be assigned a default chassis''. I can't figure it what is wrong. I see here on one of the topics that is possible to do this without this DTM but that is also unknown to me. It would be much appreciated if you can guide me through this :)
I constantly receive emails and PM from users who somehow fail to understand part "do not try to contact me directly, ask robot related questions in the robot forum...". They may think they are entitled to some special attention and that i should care... even when i explicitly state the opposite.
My compassion and collaboration only extends to those who deserve it (make an effort to communicate the way i expect). That means users who did due diligence on their part - research topic, ask question in forum , provide relevant info - without generating waste (too large images, source files or unrelated content etc.). When someone decides to not follow guidelines in pinned topic "READ FIRST" they make a clear choice to not get help from me. Are we clear?
I don't care about your name, country of origin, gender, horoscope, political views etc. If you are here to discuss robot related topics, it would be far more useful to include into about that robot system of yours - KSS version, type of connection (standard or safety), used IP addresses, role of each node, version of RSLogix, etc.
So... wanna start over?
