Hey guys. I've worked with IFWC extensively in the past and it was my understanding that I needed to have a Style in order for me to move past PreMain. I'm currently setting my doR1_RdyStyle. I get a giR1_StyleCode that im looking for (style 1), but my PP remains in PreMain. I thought that I needed to be on CmdMain in order to send my doR1_RdyCmd. Some background info: my PLC support is trying to cobble together a skeleton of a program to go into an op that is currently a manual op. They are pulling out the operators and replacing with robots. also running a much older version of IFWC (Ford's currently approved version is V09 and they are on V06 because the line is almost 10 years old - My PLC guy's reference program looks alot closer to V06 than my V09, and i'm on V09 because this is a new robot and I was informed that V06 would be incompatible with my Robotware). It could be a real possibility that they are screwing me somewhere in their program but I just wanted to cover my bases. Thanks in advance!

It's been a few years since I've touched IFWC, but I've seen this before. this is a PLC issue. PLC needs to send a Command number, a Style number, and then also CommandReady and StyleReady, in order to get all the way through this.
In my experiences getting stuck at this stage was always a problem in PLC

We're integrating version 9 right now and we've found several critical differences on the PLC side.
I wouldn't be surprised if you could fake the two into working together, but I don't expect you'll be able to work inter-version.
Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

I just had the same issue yesterday, STUCK IN PREMAIN" .. it was I/O on the gripper. plc was waiting for a DI and was not getting it.. FYI..I put the DI in and everything was good.
