Hello!
I have very little experience in not only setting up robots, but also in welding. I've been hired to set up a FANUC RJ-3iB arm with a Lincoln PW 455 MIG welder.
I'm rather unhappy with the welds I'm getting out of the robot and I was hoping I could get some advise on how to improve them.
The weld looks pretty good, but it is a bit too thin I think.
If I try to increase Wire Feed Speed or Voltage or decrease the Travel Speed, it instantly burns through.
Here are my current settings:
Wire Feed Speed: 200IPM
Travel Speed: 24IPM
Voltage: 7

PS Does anyone know if there's a way to simplify the process of running a program from a teach pendant? Could I somehow set up a button to directly run a program without having to look through menus to find it?
