Can you give more information please? What was the reason for making a P Start? (a P Start will not change your configuration) Have you loaded your welding modules/routines back into the controller after the P Start? Do you have RobotwareArc installed? If it is installed is the welding blocked? Are you using 1 or more robots from the same controller? What is the controller generation (S4C, IRC5 etc)? Have you been able to weld before and now have a problem?

Maybe I did not understand the wording. I pressed P-Start because of the instruction(photo below).
I have S4 controller.
I use 1 robot with my controller.
All i have for welding is this floppy disk (photo below). And I do not know if the welding parameters are included in the software by default (I have 7 disks )
And I did not work with welding before
The matter is that I deleted the software by mistake, and when I installed it, I could not install the welding.
But i 100% sure that i could insatll these parameters because I saw how it works.
Thank you! -
I think you have to have arcware installed first?.
-
arcware is installed.
When i was loading the soft, the message was: installing arcware -
Could you please help me with activating welding parameters? Also I have 8 boot disks(not 7) + key disk + welding disk
I have also found Processwere manual for BaseWare 4.0, but I have SystemPack 3.1(Does it matter?) And what is the difference between ArcWare and SpotWare?
Maybe someone will need this manual.
Thanks -
And what is the difference between ArcWare and SpotWare?
...What's the difference between arc welding and spot welding?
Spot welding controls gun closing time and pressure, number of pulses, tip dress, etc. It is not as sensitive to path, there is no wire feed. -
Please tell me is this button designed to change the robot \ welding?
And how to assign this button for welding?
Thank you. -
no, Thats the button that lets your switch between robot and positioners.
On ours, it rotates teach pendant control through Rob1,STN1,STN1_MJ,STN2,STN2_MJ
It doesn't actually turn on a weld function.Do you not see any welding instruction in a instruction pick list....ArcStart, ArcL,or ArcEnd?
LOL, I'm sorry. After looking at your pic again, I see your looking at the ARCL instruction....First off...you need to populate the weld and weave datatypes. You havn't assigned any. You need to replace the <EXP>with actually data. Enter your datatypes, choose weld and see if you have any made already and if not, create one. Same with the weave datatype. Then populate those <EXP> in the arc instruction with whatever you have or created. example.. weld1 and weave1
Secondly.... weld Instructions follow this progression.....ArcStart.....ArcL......ArcEnd.....It can go ArcStart...ArcEnd without the need for an ArcL but if you need extra points in between, then use an ArcL.
I tried to post the Arc and Arc Sensor Manual in the manual section for you but it would not post, sorry.
You need to set up your tool aswell....Tool0 TCP is likely off the flange where you mount your torch. You want to set up your Torch tool so that the TCP is off the end of your wire. It might even be setup already, see if you have any other tools available.
