Hi! We have KUKA R2700 KR 120 Robot and we've installed Kuka Symtech 2.2.2 with CamRob's bar for creating projects remotely. So I use CL-DATA created by NX Unigraphics for milling paths. But as I generated *SRC and *DAT files by this software using SW 8.3, the control refuses to deal with it. The error is that the name of the var wasn't defined. It appears when I tick off "use CNC parameters" and in SRC files are created "CR_rPARAMS", directly connected with commands within my CL-Data file. On the other side when I try to add commands via Symtech (Spindle on, Feedrate etc.) and use a program without choosing that menu item everything is ok. Thanks for attention. Alex.

Who installed symtech, where and how?
-
Symtech was installed approximately one and a half year ago by authorised third-party in Russia. There was installed "Applications 2.4" addon also with it, unfortunately, most of the commands are incompatible. Is it possible that symtech was installed incorectly?
-
i cannot find anything on CR_*****
program tells that the variables are not declared. from your screenshots it looks like they may belong to CR_USER_PARAMS_ADV.DAT -
Yes. Could you say me where it is possible to look for such a file like you've mentioned before? Actually, I've tried identifying this array by way putting string "DECL REAL CR_PARAMS[8]" before initializing the program but it didn't work. The point is that some of the mistakes disappeared but not all. Could you tell me whether I can ask support services about it?

of course...
that module may contain many subroutines and none of them will have access to a run-time variable declared in another routine (main program).
variables need to be declared in DAT file and may need to be global too. -
Can you put an archive of the robot here?
on the robot controller, is the tech package "Camrob" installed?
the CR_**** should be declared is CAMROB.DAT
Kind regards,
NoMad -
Did u mean this ARCHIVE? No, actually there is no tech package as "camrob". Is it supposed that having Symtech 2.2 we have to possess this package? Is it placed on a separate disk or with Symtech? Thank you for your participation.

can you tell me if my assumption is correct:
you are using KUKA.Sim Tech in combination with KUKA.Applications 2.4 with CAMROB PC)?
you are using these programs to export KRL Programs?then you try to run these programs on the robot controller?
and on the robot controller there is no tech packet CAMROB?Kind regards,
NoMad -
Yes, you are right.
-
If you want to use the KRL code exported from KUKA.Sim Tech
you have to install CAMROB KRC (v 3.0.x) on the robot controller.if you do not have this software send an email to Info@KUKA.BE for a quote.
Kind regards,
NoMad

Many thanks!I'll do it. I contacted with kuka's support service and they confirmed that we have the license for CamRob but an authorised firm forgot to set up it. Now the question is solved! Thanks again for your help!
