Hello I'm looking for some advice on an issue that is occurring with one of our IRC5 robot controllers. The robot is refurbished and hasn't ran production due to not being fully installed. I am getting an SMB communication error which is putting the controller in a system fault. I cannot calibrate anything or do anything with the controller. I called the company who sold it to us and they sent a replacement board. I changed out the boards and turned on the controller, but the controller stayed the same with the system in fault and showing the same error. If anyone can give me some advice on what to do. Thank you.

I presume you've checked cables, connectors, etc.
I'm vaguely remembering a thread about (re)loading values into an IRC5 SMB. So far, (knocks on wood) I haven't had the opportunity to put hands on an IRC5 SMB. -
Can you post the error code? That will help narrow the possiblities. Is it just the robot or are there more axes involved?
