Hi,
A PLC should be connected to the KRC4 cabinet by a field bus system (profibus/Ethernet/…)
Ofcourse the smartpad can be used to program the robot movements and logic.
The PLC needs to send certain signals to the robot (and ask for a couple of parameters aswell). Some but not all signals are:$CONF_MESS
$DRIVES_OFF
$DRIVES_ON
$EXT
$EXT_START$MOVE_ENABLE
$ON_PATH
$PERI_RDY

hi,
do i need a specific library to cammand the kr c4 from the plc (s7-1500) ?
and how can i program the kr c4 to respond the plc ? -
Do you have workvisual?
When you have it you should have some standard library, else you need to find the GSD files of the devices. -
how would you use PLC1 to tell PLC2 to do something?
same works if PLC2 is replaced by robot.if you have mxAutomation, you can do anything straight from PLC (including programming robot motion, controlling robot IO, inerrupts etc)
