Hello,
You need to have a look over the Inspection and Maintenance Manual for ZD130S. Please contact your local distributor in order to obtain the manual
and to have the grease.
How many hours does the robot have?
Not sure of hours only drained due to changing tooling. I'll speak the the agent tomorrow, just trying to find out if I have the oil in stock
QuoteI've had to take the tool Flange off
..............
- No such thing on ZD called JT6 - I assume you mean JT4.
- Also no oil, only grease.
200cc required of Multemp FZ - Use Hand grease gun only.
- Remove cover (front of head) and you should see filler pipe - attach hand gun here.
- Remove drain plug on side perimeter of flange.
- Pump through new, push old out until same consistency - should be around 200cc.
Please take a look on the Teach Pendant on Aux function --> Log Function --> Operating Data Display ---> HOUR METER. If the HOUR METER is larger than 5000 please contact your client and said that the robot must have a maintenance done. Please contact your local distributor in order to obtain the manual
and to have the grease. In the manual you'll find pictures with filler and drain ports for each axes and type and the quantity of grease. Please take care in order to have/use proper tools when you change the grease. Damages may be occurred.
Thanks Kwakisaki!
I'm working on a project swapping product infeeds and tooling. The vacuum gripper uses a custom machined tool flange with a plastic slip ring for the vacuum piping.
I did see i'd got it wrong and it should be JT4, Kuka call it axis six and 4 and 5 and missing.
for ref one robot has done 40000 hours and the other 36000, might explain why the grease is more like oil.
whats the rough life of the lubricants in these.
Ill speak to the customer Ref a service as the have 6 of these and i doubt they've ever had a service but there not working too hard for there money.
From my experience, some users do not even replenish the grease - only when there is a breakdown when the mechanical assembly requires replacing.
If any of the grease from any reduction gear is a very black colour and a wrenching odour, usually means it has got very hot which is sure sign of mechanical wear.
JT4 does get a lot of hammer on ZD's, so the grease does get worked very well.
As Alexandru has stated in excess of >5000 Hrs is recommended period to replenish grease.
>40000 is a recommended overhaul for the complete arm.
- Inspect the old grease content for foreign bodies (signs of reduction unit wear), checking for backlash and replacement of the reduction gear - only if necessary........
