I'm just commissioning an IRC5c with an anybus profinet card, running in automatic is a case of mapping some signals, then linking them to system signals within the IO configuration in robotstudio.

I would advise looking at the software in advance of the mechanical design, as when I was involved with using a palletising program there are set preconditions to how product is presented, gripper configurations etc which dictate the cell layout to use the software pack.

Thanks Kwakisaki!
I'm working on a project swapping product infeeds and tooling. The vacuum gripper uses a custom machined tool flange with a plastic slip ring for the vacuum piping.
I did see i'd got it wrong and it should be JT4, Kuka call it axis six and 4 and 5 and missing.
for ref one robot has done 40000 hours and the other 36000, might explain why the grease is more like oil.whats the rough life of the lubricants in these.
Ill speak to the customer Ref a service as the have 6 of these and i doubt they've ever had a service but there not working too hard for there money. -
Not sure of hours only drained due to changing tooling. I'll speak the the agent tomorrow, just trying to find out if I have the oil in stock
-
Can anyone tell me the oil spec and quantity for axis 6 on a palletising ZD130S,
I've had to take the tool Flange off, also is there any idea on how to fill?Cheers

Nope I can't activate my project anyone got some other versions of WoV I can grab?
-
Actually I might of cracked it.... maybe
-
Has anyone got a version of WoV 2.0.1 I can download. I've been send 4.0 but the KRC is 8.2.1 so doesn't work.
Thanks

Its worth mentioning that the machinery directive states machinery cannot restart automatically without someone resetting a guard circuit, then pressing start.
That's in Europe anyways -
Kwakisaki,
That sounds really promising and yes a bit of a bug,
I've been tied up on some other work (machine design) but was trying to work out why the value would of been invalid as the value was set to a valid one before calling another program with this case issue in it.I'm glad you've been able to replicate my issue and also show how the program I have copied had these comments in and wasn't causing an issue.
Interestingly perhaps, I saved a program which had the comments and was working, loaded it back in with no issue, Just plain odd.
I did move the comments around but ran out of time.So much for comments helping other people understand the code
I've been using ultraedit, but as the issue was also in terminal that helps

it's one of those where the robot is 5 hours away and I can only have it for 8 hours a day one day a week, and there's no internet.... Great
-
can anyone see why this case statement isn't liked by a D+ controller?
it keeps throwing up 'no value after case';
;CASE pick_count[line_pick] OF
;VALUE 1,3,6,8:
;// Use Pick location for 3 or 5 boxes in right side of griper
pick_select[line_pick] = 35
;
;VALUE 2,4:
;// Use Pick location for 5 boxes in left side of griper
;pick_select[line_pick] = 5
;
;VALUE 5,7:
;// Use Pick location for 3 boxes in left side of griper
;;pick_select[line_pick] = 3
;
;END; Of caseThanks in advance

Handy, Cheers

Maybe you could you a counter and use IF statements or a Switch to generate your positions and offset your first position. I would have a Master position and then generate a offset position.
As panicmode and skyfire have mentioned teaching the tool and bases and an understanding of why this is important is a good idea.

Yea, Sounds like the batterys are shot. think they only rate them for a couple of years.

Its worth noting that these workspaces are usually set to protect equipment and sometimes personnel.
So be sure you are aware of what your doing.Safety First

Sounds odd, but one thing that cured a similar issue in the past for me was.
Turn off the mouse and keys. come out of the page. turn them back on again.
by turn of hit the icon above the axis keys and turn off activate keys.... I think. -
You can add Visual Components to the list, its the engine of Kuka Sim

That one looks nice and promising, can't find info about the software:He'll have arc eye in the morning
