My questions is "Is there a way to obtain Kuka motor parameters?"
To begin, I am aware that Kuka motros and Kuka motor parameters are proprietary information and I would never do anything to infringe on this.
For an upcoming application, we will need to control an older Kuka robot (KRC1) with our own company controls. That I am aware of, since Kuka does not give away motor parameters, the only way to get these parameters is to obtain a good estimate by using external hardware/software and physically testing the motor. Has anybody ever done this? Because this is an older robot and the controller is no longer good, could/has Kuka released the parameters on these older motors?
Best regards!
