Mounted to my flange there is a pneumatic slide carrying a mass. Based on the orientation of this slide (directly up/down [in the z direction of world] or side to side [in the the x direction of world]) I need to increase or decrease the pressure in order to compensate the weight from gravity.
Basically, I'm looking to see if there is an easy way for me tell what component of gravity is acting along the direction of my slide at any given moment. In other words, is my slide oriented along world Z (directly against gravity; in which case I would need to compensate the weight) or is it oriented along world X (perpendicular to gravity; in which case I need to compensate no weight).
