Hello,
We need to install a KR6/2 KRC1 robot on ceiling (and may also possible to install on a wall). Can someone help me to know the maximum suplementary load in these cases?
For KR6/2 the maximum supplementary load in the standard installation is 10 Kgs.

You made sure to buy the Ceiling-mount version of hte KR, correct? Otherwise... well, Bad Things will happen.

I don't think they even make any wall-mount KRs anymore, though I could be wrong.

Supplemental load should not change, although I would recommend double-checking the documentation of the specific robot. But mounting a floor-model robot to the ceiling, or vice versa, is an excellent way to destroy your robot.

Thank you.
One friends said me only by changing MADA I can use normal KR6/2. Is it? General question; How can I use a robot on ceiling?
Supplementary load will not change?
Can someone give me a document about KR6/2 show me the supplementary load of it when install on ceiling?

Hi,

in theory a floor robot can be used on the ceiling only if
• no absolute accuracy package is used

• the Robot type has no weight balancing System
But in any case I would talk to your local KUKA representive for a official ok.
