The robot was working smoothly. Today morning open the robot. And mode select join or word but only move axis 4. Another axis not runs only axis 4. Little turn right and stop the axis. Display on alarm srvo-024 axis 4. I new this fault. I read book for srvo-024 problems. Trying the solve but not work. Disturbance axis and limits are normally. Not mechanical strain and crash. Please help me?

The axis control boards in the CPU may be bad. They enable motion.

I hadn't thought of the CPU card. I trying. Thank you for your interest.

Only axis J4 moves? Perhaps axis J4 is moving because it is not being held be servo power. If gravity is moving axis J4 different from what's commanded, you will get SRVO-024. Could be wiring between J4 motor and amplifier, the servo amp or the motor.

These move excess errors can be tricky. I would start where RacerMike said the axis control cards on the CPU. Simple move the around and see if the error goes to another axis. If it does then you know you have DSP module thats bad. Sometimes you can put your ear to the motor and listen to the power if it sounds like its oscillating all crazy it could be the amplifier.

Thanks everyone;
There is a malfunction of the robot, we have yet to resolve. We've had an accident at work because of the robot about the work place. The third axis had been released at a time, and one person injured. Next week we will continue a malfunction of the robot. -
I changed the cables between the robot and the controller. I replaced the card with a card complete working CPU. I'm starting a new beginning from the robot calibration, I'm doing the program I'm doing, it works fine. But an hour later, when I run the program again, servo-024 Group 1, axis 4 is starting to give the error again. I'm freaking out...

In your previous posts you had a lot of other issues.
It looks like they are resolved at this point, is that right?
If so I would start with replacing the motor. It sounds like the brake is bad. -
The robot first when I install it works fine, after some time has passed to raise the alarm begins. I changed the SIF MODULE axis 4 in the morning. Now it works normal but I'll keep trying. This fault can be done from the SIF MODULE?
