Hmmmm........Could be tricky to resolve this based on my experience with these types of errors.....
That fault is normally attributed to either CPU or Servo board failure during the boot up process - possibly corrupt firmware or bad components.
First thing is to double check the on board battery mounted on CPU board.
1KA = red tab
1RA = yellow tab
Battery is single cell 3.6V and if less than 3.3V then requires replacing.
(if battery is completely exhausted, data loss/corruption may have occurred.)
I would replace it anyway if it's been standing around for a while.................it may be the cause..................If not that, have you any spare CPU and Servo boards you could try and locate the actual faulty board?
(1KA and 1KB) or (1RA and 1RB).....do not mix red and yellow tabbed boards.......and just test swap them out to see if you can prove (CPU/Servo) is at fault.
- Doing a factory reset is risky unless you have a valid backup......which I would only ever do as a last resort...............Have a look at the above first, especially the battery, it may just resolve it.
-
thanks for our kindly help.
i known the problem is for 1KA board.
i replaced batter before but its not ok now.
i dont have any backup.
is there any way to initialize it?
i dont have any spare part.
i can write new program for robot.
i only want to relive robot.
best regards. -
A factory reset will empty ALL robot zeroing, robot arm information, user data.
- You will not be able to move robot at all after a factory reset unless you have shipping data to enter -For this you need the initial shipping data sheets (usually supplied with the robot and attached to inside of controller door).
- Without these settings, controller and robot will not work -Are you sure you want to try?
If so, can you post:
Controller Model and Serial No.
Robot Model and Serial No. -
thanks alot
now i initialize it and it working now
but i loose all of data
but i dont have that sheet inside of controller door.
but i have one back up from program with .as postfix.
can i use it for robot arm data and servo data?
now i have 4 error
i dont remember serial number now
but its d40 and fs020
D1017 and D1016 ,E0903 and D2023
how can i solve it?
thanks again for your kindly help. -
Those errors sound applicable to an initialization.
D1016/D1017 relate to servo data and robot arm do not match
D2023 relates to robot model and arm data do not exist in AS
E0903 is checksum error which is normal............So, if you look at AUX 0804 (software version), in there will be no robot model - this will confirm that the above errors are infact correct.
The backup you mentioned, if you know that was from an old FS20 (you can open this up in notepad) - check the line that starts with:
ZROBOT.TYPE 12 24 6 1 -646 ZX200S-B001 ( 2015-08-16 17:50 )
Highlighted above in italics is the arm that this backup came from, if this has FS20 in there......you should be able to load this in and will resolve the D errors above.
- What you should receive on a reboot is the following 2 errors:
1. Joint abnormality (probably an all joints).
2. CheckSum error. So, reset the errors.........
The Checksum error will return, but joint abnormality shouldn't.
Goto to Aux 0803 and set this to enable, reset checksum error and you should have a robot that is error free and movable.
Then rezero the joints.
After rezeroing, this should be back to an operating condition with all of the settings/user programs from the backup........and a functioning system. If your backup is not from an FS20......then get me the Serial no. (should be on a plate attached on the top of the controller) and I'll see if I can locate some default shipping data to get you away................

thank you so so so much.
my backup is for the same robot.
your mean is robot data information that start with ZROBOT.TPE.
i do it before but i have some problem.
for another robot type i use from notepad++ for load in robot program.
but for this robot it does not work.after connection it be disconnect.
i used from KRterm but i have a lot of error when i use from it.
i can connect to Krterm. then after login i cop and paste robot data to KRterm
but it takes a lot of error.
i dont use from KRterm before.
how can i load with this app?
i used from load command but it can not find my file.
which folder i have to put my .as file for load?
i put .as file in KRterm folder and it cannot find.
i try to load in with file send option but then i have a lot of error.
cause it need binar file but i dont have it. i only have .as file.
do you have another app for load and save?
like kcwin32. but i need connect with tcp (ethernet). i dont have RS232.
i dont need shipping data sheet anymore when i have backup?Best regards.

Sounds like you may have incorrect IP set for your laptop (has to be static - not DHCP) or Ethernet cable problem (has to be crossover type) for peer to peer connection.
- Please check that. When you installed KRTerm, the directory where the .exe is stored is working directory of KRTerm.
- Place .as file in this directory and KRTerm can now use file.Setup KRTerm
Locate correct IP Address of Controller (Aux 0812).
Default is 192.168.0.2.
Subnet 255.255.255.0.
Open KRTerm.
Select Com.
Select Options.
Select TCP/IP.
Enter IP address of Controller here (port no. should be 23).
Click Add (details now saved).Confirm Laptop IP Address is static set not DHCP and configure to eg:
192.168.0.250
255.255.255.0Attach Ethernet Cable between laptop and controller (make sure is crossover)
Confirm connection by windows command prompt and use PING 192.168.0.2 - No Lost packets confirms connection solid. On KRTerm.
Select Com
Select Connect by list
Select IP address of Controller (the one you just added).Screen should display similar to:
** Connected to 1KA-Terminal ** (192.168.0.2)
Login:If here, then connection is there, for login type in just 2 letters lowercase as.
Should now have command prompt and flashing cursor.
Because you place .as file in working directory, just type at command prompt:
>LOAD filename and press enter.
- Answer Yes to all questions and file should load in.
After load complete, reboot controller and see any errors produced and let me know......................If possible send screenshots......I hope this helps.............

thank you so much again
but i dont have any problem in connection
i can connect to KRterm.
i mention it in my last post.
i think my problem was for case sensetive NAME.AS
i think if i use name.as my problem will be solve.
what do you think?
i can not go to factory until Friday for test.
i have some quastion:
i dont need shipping data sheet anymore when i have backup?
Do you have kcwin32 with tcp/ip>>>>kcwintcp?best regards
-

Sorry I mis-understood what you wrote.
I would be very surprised if case sensitivity was an issue, I've never come across that before.
If there is problem with case sensitivity then KCWin32 and KCWin TCP would have same problem too.
It maybe that your filename contains spaces or special characters....but easily resolved....by renaming. If you have a full backup, then no you don't require any shipping data, so you will be ok........but you will need to re-zero ALL joints, if backup came from alternative FS20 robot.
You will also need to confirm motion software limits are ok after zeroing, because if zeroing too far away, then links of arm may collide with end stops before software limit detected.....so please check/confirm each joint working envelope maximum/minimum coverage. -
i am not sure its for case sensitive or not.
i can test it in next week.
and i will inform you. -
Dear kwakisaki
it was for Case sensetive problem.
robot is working now.
thanks a lot for your kindly help. -
Many thanks for letting us know......what was wrong with case sensitivity exactly?
- I have never seen problem occur with case sensitivity before, only incorrect characters.......Is the robot up and running now then?
-
for example: my programs name was ABC.AS.
when i was trying to load it, i could not.
then i changed the name to abc.as and after that i could load it to my robot.
yes its running now.
my OS was win8
and i was using from KRterm.
thanks for your kindly help. -
Thanks for the details........never come across that type of problem before...
- One for the 'memory locker'.......Glad it's sorted though...
