Hello everyone.
We are building a design for a positioner where the 2 MGUs will be rotated 180deg by a 3rd MGU. (I believe Kuka has a positioner like this called a V2H.)The motor cables for the 2 MGUs will get twisted 180deg in one direction then 180deg in the other direction with each cycle of the machine. With how these cables will be run, about 4' of each cable is what is going to be twisted and untwisted. Our fear is that over time, these cables will fail because of all of the twisting and untwisting.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of a problem and if so, what did you choose to do about it?
Thanks in advance
Matt
