I am trying to open OfficeLite 8.3 in VMware ws11 and every time I get the blue crash screen. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you fix it? I keep getting different errors depending on what settings I change, but every time the blue screen appears.

mine works just fine. sometimes it does not like that laptop went into hibernation - in this case unity mode may not work so I have to choose between restarting VM or live with fact that OL is not showing up as host application. otherwise - never had any issues...
I would just ask Kuka for another OL image. -
your first start up of the image? I am using ol8.3 in vmplayer, it's ok. But our IT guy tried ws10 with first start up , it did blue.
try the vmplayer

I have VMware player 5.0.1 build-894247.

I seemed to have fixed it. You have to change default workstation to 8.0 and windows operating system to windows 7x64. Otherwise, using windows xp as the virtual os makes it work fine.

Hello. I'm also having trouble to start OL 8.3 Build7. I'm using VMware-player-6.0.6-2700073 (OL8.2 is working fine). I tried on different PC's also, upgraded RAM's to 8GB, still getting bluescreens.

Has anyone found a stable fix?? Trying OL8.3 with WorkStation11,10,8. Keep getting Blue screened.

1. complain to KUKA , ask for solution
2. try to use another PC running VMware player 5 for the first start-up, then copy the image to your current pc to use
