Hi
Someone have experience with krc4 and vipa coupler ethercat, because i've imported the esi file in workvisual, but I see only coupler.
I do not see the I / O modules that can be connected to this coupler,so I can't map the digital I/O.
My workvisual version is 3.1.8 bulid 22

Hi,
You need to download the .gsd or .xml file of that module from manufacturer website and import it to DTM catalogue in your Work Visual. After this you will be able to add that particular module in your project and further commissioning can be done.
Thanks

I have import file .xml but the result of import is: i have only coupler -
well you did not leave much to go on... what is the part number of each component? and where is this xml? is it a single file or collection od electronic datasheets? if it is single file, maybe it does contain only coupler. I don't know if those devices are even supported but if you share files, maybe others can try them too. Btw latest work visual is 3.1.10 (newer versions may have broader support).

this is file .xml https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/109266342/Cx000099_V23.zip, and where i can get the new version of workvisual

newest version can be obtained from your local Kuka rep. I cannot post it here, it is way too large (500Mb) even if we did not have space problems with server.
Btw. I just added the XML to Work Visual 3.1.10 and only one device was imported (in three FW versions: 17,18,19):
"VIPA 053-1EC00 EtherCAT Fieldbus coupler (MDP)"It does not let me add any modules either. So, if you are looking to use some EtherCat I/O, stick with Beckhoff. and it is not expensive either.
Don't beat yourself, not every Beckhoff module is supported either. You can add Beckhoff coupler and Profibus master, then use Vipa (or whatever) profibus modules. Of course you can use ProfiNet too, but it will cost you a bit more.
