I am currently logging some system variables to file while running experiments. Transferring each file using a USB memory stick gets a bit old though, so I am trying to figure out what options exist. What I have found is:
* Buy KRL-XML (KRL-Ethernet) module and be stuck with some XML-over-tcp/ip custom KUKA interface. Not really sure what this is yet.
* Use krl_mount() (via CWRITE) to mount a remote SMB share, the open file on the share. I have not been able to try this yet. I am hoping to get the network working this afternoon. The virtual interface on 192.168.0.0/24 makes it hard to connect to any home/office LAN.Having the same network ID for two networks does not seen to work reliably.
Am I missing any options here, or is there no plain socket (which I think ABB seems to offer)?
Thanks in advance.
(By the way, are there any way to share a directory or mount a network share for transferring programs form the smartpad. Again, usb is a bit of a pain.)
