Hi All,
We have DX100 and today, I tried to decipher the i/o of devicenet bus configurations that my colleauge configured (I'm new to bus configurations). In maintenance mode, it look like this:
| I/O | ST# | CH | MAC ID | ADDR| Byte| NAME |
| #20060 | 16 | 0 | 254 | 0 | 1 | AB3604 |
|#20070 | 16 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 14 | AB3604 |
In user section of ladder editor, #20060 and #20070 are connected to #00040 and #00050 respectively. However, my devicenet device sents 1st byte on #20070, 2nd on #20080 and so on.
I can only assume from above table that ADDR 1 means 1st byte address and ADDR 0 is config (?)...as we have 14 * 8 (112) + 8 byte = 120 bytes (As per devicenet/profibus manual). Perhaps this last 8 byte takes the ADDR 0.
Can someone help me/us (beginners) with this stuff? And, these are just external inputs, where do external outputs go? I'm using master devicenet card and I have bidirection communications.
Thank you!
