I have an application for two robots. Pick up is from common bench and are altered in X.
This has resulted the two robots to pick from 9 different positions on the bench, but always with a constant distance between them.
What I want to ask is: how we can ensure that they will not collide because of an error (eg counters)?
Obviously can not set Space Function because the positions are changed.
Is there any way that the robot knows the position of the other?
The robots are connected as slaves in a network with Profibus and PLC is master.
I could link together the robot with last mile ethernet?
How could I make a safety system to avoid a collision?
