Hi I have never seen this used before and I wonder if its some 'trick' to assign DI/DO for program use that has no physical connection outside the robot. Not discrete or even network based connections. Here is what I see...
Range Rack Slot Start Stat
DI[1 - 20] 0 0 1 active - what the heck is rack 0, slot 0?
When you put a 1 in the start column, it becomes active and can be used in the programming. Is this a 'flag' substitute that stays internal? Never seen this before and never heard fanuc talk about it in any training.
I , for fun, put in
DI[400 - 512] 0 0 1 active
ALL the DI from 400 to 512 became active.
What do you - the community - know about this?
