Hello!
I am a new user of the Kawasaki Robots.
I am looking for Operation Manual for D series controller, and other manuals for this robot.
Can somebody help me download it?
Thanks.
Can You please send me your e mail address?
Thank you for you help.
The "D SERIES CONTROLLER OPERATIONS AND PROGRAMMING MANUAL" for the welding robot FA006 is necessary.

Hello
Is it the electrical maintenance the one you have?
I would really appreciate if you could share with me too any manuals from the FS03N Robot and D Series Controller.
I realize this is an old thread, but I hope someone is listening still. I recently got a FS10E and D30 controller from auction. I would be delighted to find any documentation regarding it, especially an electrical maintenance manual. Thank you in advance!
Welcome to the forum...………
I've attached what manuals I have for F Series Arms and D Series Controllers.
Parts Catalogue for FS10E.
Parts Catalogue for D30.
Troubleshooting Manual for D Controllers (includes North America D3x).
Zeroing and Motor Replacement for F Series Arms.
External IO Manual (includes North America D3x).
Hope they help...…….
Thanks for the response. I have figured out how to power it, but I'll need a way to fix the cable ends to match the controller.. Any chance anyone has the pinout diagram for the FS10E power and I/O cables? The cable I got with the robot is incorrect on one end and will need to be rewired for the plug.
Please take the time to read the manuals I have posted, you will find the relevant information you require located in one those.
*** Hint, Troubleshooting Manual.

Though I still feel I am missing something, I appreciate your input. I see on page 5-2 and 5-3 the pinout for the controller side of the cable, but the opposite side that connects to the robot is a different connector for both cables with differing pins. I'll keep looking though, I'm sure I will be able to patch together enough information to match up the pins.
F Series Arms were first introduced for C Controllers.
From memory I think the umbilicals for Controller and Arm were Harting connectors.
When D Controller was released, the Controller side changed to ILME connectors instead and the arm remained the same.....(this is from memory).
I am pretty sure the pinout was identical though.
If you haven't got the correct umbilicals, I would suggest to obtain them, splicing an otherwise different cable together, carries some obvious risks.
What is the part no. of the incorrect cable you have?

In the electrical maintenance manual it describes the controller end as ILME(which I know to be the Harting brand at least for this controller) and the robot end as Molex connectors. Pg 3-33 and 3-34.
The cable I received with the robot seems to fit the description between a C controller and a FS robot with a Molex connector on either side(one male, one female). I have 52 available pins for the Signal Harness and 40 pins available for the Motor Harness from the robot. Perhaps if I find documentation on the C controller I can put a name to each pin at least.
Seeing as the FS10E was paired with the D30 I hoped I could determine which pins were used and rewire this cable, avoiding any pins not required by the FS10E on the D30 side.
I'm afraid these cables are not labeled with a part number. If I had to guess based on the spare parts list it would be:
50979-2068L05 HARNESS-ASSY-SEPARATE,MTR 1 MOTOR C(ILME/HART-MOLEX) L=5M
and
50979-2028L05 HARNESS-ASSY-SEPARATE,SIG 1 SIGNAL(ILME/HART-MOLEX) L=5M
Quick Update kwakisaki: Thanks to your tidbit about the FS originally being meant for the C controller(and some other posts on this forum) I was able to find the pinout for the C controller that matches the FS10E on page 3-33 in the C electrical maintenance manual. I will proceed with caution(using only the 60VAC specifically for teach mode), but I believe I have the required information to modify the cable to match the setup. I appreciate your input on my questions.
Yep, I meant to say Molex......always getting them mixed up.
Strange you did not get the correct cable set with it...………….
Attached is the C Controller TS Manual.
The 10E is not in there, just 10 and 10X...…however, I am sure the 10 and 10E electrically were identical
Hope it helps you reference them...………..
