Hello to all:
My organization has a used Kuka KR 30-2 with a KRC-1 control cabinet running good ol' Windows 95. Now that we have it working, we have turned out focus to generating milling code. I have received several suggestions from users on this forum, and I am currently investigating Sprutcam and Rhino/Grasshopper/PRC.
The only way we have right now to get programs onto the control cabinet is a floppy disc. I suppose we could burn our programs onto CD's, but that would be overkill and waste a LOT of CDR's.
We've tried adding a network card to the on-board computer without success (maybe we need to try a few different cards?). Using thumb drives is also out, no support in WIN 95 for that. Anyone out there have any other ideas for getting around this?
With the "aged" KRC-1 that we have, are we going to run into problems with file sizes/lengths of milling programs when we load them? Thanks for any advice!
