before you do anything (big or small), it is always a good idea to make a current backup (archive). (File->Archive->All)
then even if you manage to mess up something, you can just restore that archive and at least you are back at same starting point. (File->Restore->All)
for archiving/restoring login as Expert so you can see the drive when plugged in.
on KRC4 you need to specify where the USB key is plugged - cabinet or pendant.
then you can get familiar with making changes without fear of ruining something.
you can duplicate existing program or make new one and practice... practice makes perfect.
teaching points (touch-up) is very straight forward, just select program, navigate to line with motion instruction, jog robot to position you like and press Touchup.
after you do that always test program in low speed to check for problems like insufficient clearances, correct path, positions etc.
