In the Lincoln welding machine is there a signal to inform back to the ABB robot if the welding was performed within the requested parameters? I’m doing a security weld and I really need this information.

Multitask works very well. Don't be afraid to use it. I wrote a program with 5 multitask. And also you can use cross connection together. Helps a lot

I'm working on an ABB IRC5 robot with Fronius arc welding. The smartac signal is working correctly when I touch wire on the part. I have correct voltage above 35 volts at both points (wire and gas cup), but the digital input only acts with the wire contact.
How can I swich de signal to act when I touch de gas Cup on the part?

Hi guys. I have a chalenge to solve down here in Brazil. In ABB robot using an SeachL instruction with a laser sensor, I'll find two or three points in a circle. I know de radius and I need to determine the center of the circle. Center (x,y). Anyone knows the formula from two points and radius to find de center? Or even a formula to determine de center from three points?

Drive units use to be the same and share 2 or 3 axis in they job. Have you tryed to swap drive units in the same cabinet and see if error change numbers? (Check if all boards have same DSQC code)
Or can you swap between two differents robots? If you have two or more with same configuration...

I think the best way to do this is configuring an input on the door to be pressed before open the door, or to unlock the door.
This input trig a trap before robot program stops.
Then a trap routine can handle that situation like:

Does anybody know a parameter or command to invert joystic direction on a hanging IRB 140? I did by baseframe under motion parameters and works well on world coordinates, but when jogging axis by axis, still inverted.

I have the conveyor tracking option installed. Option 606-1 Conveyor Tracking, encoder, DSQC 377A, etc. I'm sure everything is all set. The backup I ask is just a reference for me to feel more safe during programming...

I'm new here in Robot Forum and I have some good experience in rapid ABB programming. My question is about a process that I never program before, and I don't have too much time to do it. I have to program a pick and place sausage cell. I'm gonna use a IRB 4600 and no camera needed. My main question is about configure the robot to follow he track. Someone have a backup with same kind of process or near and also a sequence to configure the cell? I'm very confortable with work-object, base frame and others configurations. Thank you in advance...
