Hi everyone...
I'm new here in Robot Forum and I have some good experience in rapid ABB programming. My question is about a process that I never program before, and I don't have too much time to do it. I have to program a pick and place sausage cell. I'm gonna use a IRB 4600 and no camera needed. My main question is about configure the robot to follow he track. Someone have a backup with same kind of process or near and also a sequence to configure the cell? I'm very confortable with work-object, base frame and others configurations. Thank you in advance...

You will need the conveyor tracking option adding to the ABB system pack.
Basically it moves the work object when tracking a pulse generator on the moving conveyor.

Hi prnuk2003
I have the conveyor tracking option installed. Option 606-1 Conveyor Tracking, encoder, DSQC 377A, etc. I'm sure everything is all set. The backup I ask is just a reference for me to feel more safe during programming...
Thankyou. -
The sequence you need is:
1- check encoder direction
2- tcp
3- check, calculate and update counts per meter
4- make a base frame and work object (only if you have motion controlled by robot's drive)
5- check accuracy
7- configure start window
8- configure sync separation
Then you can start play with movements...
If I forgot something, please help me too...Good luck

I have attached a file about conveyor tracking in s4c. There are small difference with your system but at least you can understand principles of conveyor tracking and the other issues. (minimum distance, start window width, queue track dist., maximum dist. etc)

You are welcome, also I have found document about conveyor tracking of IRC5. I thought maybe It will be helpful for you.
