Translation:
Good afternoon, I'm having problems with an IRB 2400L M2000 Robot.
Displays Error 50056 irb_2
The robot at hand moves, when I try to move axis 2 using the command it gives an error.
Any tips?
50056 is a joint collision error. Verify the axis 2 motor brake is releasing when trying to jog the robot.
CAUTION: DO NOT release the brakes manually unless you absolutely sure of what you are doing. Properly support the robot according to the product manual.
Translation:
By pressing the axis 2 unlock button it moves well.
I can move all the axes except 2 which gives error 50056, I hear it unlocking but it stops soon.
Is there any noise or vibration when it moves before it errors?
If it feels mechanically good with axis 2 brake released with the 2 button manual release, it may be the motor, amplifier or wires in between.
Take the back cover off of axis 2 motor and listen for a clunk (worn bearing) when it starts to move. Also listen for a scraping sound while it does move to indicate something is rubbing that shouldn't.
If you have another amplifier, I would try that as it is easy to swap.
If you can release the brake by pressing the #2 button at the base and the robot can move freely (be careful it doesn't fall down. Maybe secure it with a sling or post), it could be the brake release unit. If the robot still feels jammed, it most likely a failed brake in the motor itself. If you have a 24VDC power supply, you can connect directly with the 2 small wires (it will be polarity sensitive) on the larger square connector inside the motor itself (the one that supplies motor power, not the 9 pin D-sub connector for the resolver). If it allows free motion after the power supply is connected and powered up, it travels back to the brake release unit (or cabling going back). Find the route cause before switching out components. It will save you time and money in the long run.
Have you checked the oil level in the gearbox? Skooter could there be an issue with the parallel arm linkage?
Based on your troubleshooting so far, I suspect the motor. Seen similar with bad motor. Do you have another similar motor to try externally before pulling this one? If not, I've used axis 1 motor to troubleshoot axis 2 & 3 externally as it can be pulled and not lose oil. Pulling axis 1 motor will invalidate the axis 1 fine calibration numbers though.
Obrigado pelas dicas.
Oops, you are correct. Now that I think about it, it was axis 1 off the second 2400/10 robot in a 2 robot cell. Very sorry for the mislead.
I don't have a 2400L here, not sure if there is enough slack in the motor cables to reach another motor. The sheathing on old 2400 wire harness cables tends to get brittle so not sure if trying to stretch them is good idea though.
Obrigado.
São compatíveis para teste?
Motor 17326 é do eixo 1
Motor 17327 é do eixo 2
Estou assumir falha no motor.
Problema resolvido.
Since the brake seemed to release properly when you moved it manually, my guess is a worn bearing allowing the rotor to contact the stator with force when the motor trying to move with it's magnetic fields but the rotor floats or drags along when moving the rotor with external force (brake release).
