I want to have a WAIT FOR statement that I can trigger using KukaVarProxy.
I was hoping that I would be able to write to OUT[1] and have a WAIT FOR OUT[1] (as IN[] is write protected)
I have tried to write to OUT[1] but this doesn't seem to work. I am using C3Bridge on the controller and py openshowvar, i have been able to read and write multiple vars.
My questions are:
1) Should it be possible to write to OUT[] with KVP, since it is not write protected i was expecting this to work. Can anyone confirm?
2) If writing to OUT is not possible, is it possible to create a custom variable and read and write to it with KVP and how would one go about implementing this on the controller side.
3) In case the above is not possible, any ideas for having the robot wait until receiving a signal from an external python program.
