Hi, I'm fairly new to programming robots. I have a r-30ib mate with a 200id. I got it used online and was looking to add a linear rail to it. Can the standard 6 axis servo drive power that? If so, where do I plug it in? If not what else would I need? Thanks in advance.

Depending on what is in your robot, you will/may need the following:
Hardware:
Another servo amp.
Additional Axis card.
Software:
Extended axis control.
Coordinated motion.
Unfortunately, the software side of these will require talking to Fanuc. Once they find out you are not the original owner, they will want a "software relicensing fee" before they sell you any additional options. I've heard various numbers, but the fee is at least a few thousand dollars.

The 6-axis servo amp can only supply the DC bus voltage for "another servo amp" mentioned above by Nation.
