nx100 power up after extended shutdown

Hello,

Kinda a new to the robot world. Kinda in the sense that I've been around them a lot but only ever worked with one once. Worked with as in change some parameters in the program... anyways, I got my hands on a couple of EA1400N welding robots with the NX100 controller. From what I understand the 2 controllers were linked somehow. At the moment I've tried to power them up individually I get almost nothing. There's a few lights on indicating power but the pendant doesn't come on, the fans don't come on, nothing. E-stops don't do anything. At this point I'm just looking for some guidance - point me in the right direction. My intention is simply to ensure they work and then sell them... Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks for your comment. I'm assuming I'm going to need to change the batteries since they've been disconnected so long. It looks to me there's been a few parts borrowed out of the 'slave' controller so that one for sure isn't going to be sold as a working unit. Maybe I'll just part it out.

Look at Control Power Supply CPS-420F on the right side of the rack. On the front/lower/left is connector CN02. If an external On/Off is not being used, then jumper CN02-1 & CN02-2 together. With the CN02 jumpered, it should power on when the disconnect is turned on.

If this is DR2C master/slave setup, it is best to sell it as such. As Robodoc says, you'll need Yaskawa tech support & service expertise to separate.

Thank you for that. There's nothing connected to CN02 but it has been labelled for a cable. Do I assume CN02-1 is the top pin? I may simply power get the master unit working and then sell the slave off for parts.... I don't think its worth it for me to have Yaskawa in to separate, especially seeing there have been some parts robbed out of the one controller.
