    Hello,

Can you please advise where to connect the IO signals to the dx100 controller. If I read correctly from the manuals, they connect to the x18 board. Is there anyone here who would explain to me exactly how to connect the signals to the card? I need signals for servo on and cycle start, and then some more io for application. thank you.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I don't know mush about the dx-100 controller but in the dx-200 and YRC1000.

Note: What I type here is for an DX-200 check with your own electric wiring schematics!

    The IN/OUT are on CN306 till CN309.

Most external and safety signals you can find on CN219 (board is connected to X18)

It is also possible to program the extern start and servo on through the ladder program.

    With SIN#0029 (#40044) and SIN#0030 (40045).

For more info for I/Os signals in DX100, give install and wiring manual.

It explain about all system signals and user signals that you can use.

There are 4 port for I/Os on the DX100, in the manual explain about each pins of these 4 port.

    Thanks for your answers.

i managed to make communication between siemens controller and dx100 controller. I made a connector according to the diagram and connected it. I connected the inputs and outputs according to the scheme. I paid attention to the robot inputs for servo on, program start, etc. When I connected all the inputs that I send from siemens, also specific ones such as servo on etc. I see them among the universal inputs. So when I turn on the output from siemens servo on, the servo on yaskawa does not turn on. What else needs to be done?

    thanks.

I don't know how you did the wiring and use signals.

For servo ON the signal #40045 must trig, therefore check on the ladder this signal.

For example you need if the input #20030 turn ON from PLC the servo turn ON too.

    Use below code in ladder:

    STR #20030

    OUT #40045

Now check your ladder and find #40045 and see how it use.

Did you wire the servo on signal to the MXT card? Are you in Remote Mode when you tried to turn on servos?

I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.
