Hello All!
I am currently setting up line tracking and I was told I need to alter the ladder logic to allow for the home position input signal. I was wondering if anyone had a guide for doing it I have everything else set up.

Are you positive you want to do this? When this input comes on the robot will go from wherever it is to the Work Home Position. The speed it will go there is in a parameter. I believe the default is 50.00%. Most cells aren’t designed to allow the robot to go from anywhere to this position. If I used it the rung would be heavily conditioned.
Might have misread this. Are you talking about the home position limit switch with conveyor tracking? The limit switch that resets the encoder back to 0?
If so, I have never had to rewrite anything in the ladder for it. I remember a project where my robot job was resetting the encoder and I didn’t have a home position limit switch. I might have written something in the ladder for that project.

This was what I was talking about I ended up figuring it out all I had to do was map the input of the home position limit switch which was #40700 to my PLC input which was #00953 and then I tied that to a photoeye checking for hangers. Thank you!
